What are the Mechanisms Used in Waste Heat Boilers?
The heat in the flue gasses is utilized by the waste heat boiler. Gas turbines with combined heat and power units are used in conjunction with waste boilers. The rising energy cost is the reason behind the frequent use of this system. Industrial processes make a large number of waste heat energy. The heat boilers are exploiting this heat energy.
These Waste Heat Boilers can be Categorized:
Waste heat boilers without additional combustion.
Hot water or steam boiler
The principle upon which the waste heat boiler is designed is the principle of the flame tube or the smoke tube. There are pipe bundles through which hot glue gas is directed. Water is present inside the boiler body. The heat in the gas is transferred to water which is present inside the body. There are glue gas collectors attached to the inlet and outlet sides.
